Opportunities to Serve
Saint Mark's Missions Today
The people of Saint Mark’s engage many communities with compassionate acts to build up the one universal family of God. Working in small teams on these ministries of healing and inclusion, we experience our faith and gain maturity in choosing the kind of Christian life that best fits our individual gifts.
In 2026, teams at Saint Mark’s are active in these ministries:
United Women in Faith
Connects and nurtures women through Christian spiritual formation, leadership development, creative fellowship, and education so that they can inspire, influence, and impact local and global communities. UWF has welcomed many into small groups and the Saint Mark’s community.
Caregiver Visitors
Persons caring for loved ones are supported by trained church members in confidential, ongoing individual relationships. If you need support or are able to support someone else, contact Parish Nurse Pam Taylor.
Food Closet
Every Tuesday and Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00 am, we offer food to anyone in need.
Loaves and Fishes
On the 4th Wednesday of each month, we help prepare (7-10 AM) and serve (10:30 AM to 1:30 PM) a meal to guests in the Dining Room. We see Christ in each guest we serve (Matthew 25).
Music and Worship
Do you have talents for music or other expressions of worship? We have room for you to grow. Minister of Music: Rick Schlosser
Rainbow Alliance
Saint Mark’s wholeheartedly embraces LGBTQIA+ individuals. All are welcome, and all means ALL.
Volunteer In Mission (VIM)
Angola — Supporting missionary Naná Fatuma Katembo and the Bom Jesus women’s cooperative.
Sierra Leone — Improving public school education.
Recovery programs
A large number of addiction recovery programs hold weekly meetings at Saint Mark’s. Contact with program leaders can be made confidentially through Facilities Coordinator Elizabeth Cruz.
Connect. Serve. Belong.
