On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, we will again be doing a Thanksgiving lunch, including turkey sandwiiches, cranberry sauce and pumpkin cookies. If you are interested in baking cookies or contributing items for the lunches, please let us know by emailing jmuggles@sbcglobal.net. We plan to serve 30 to 35 lunches on November 22nd.
We don’t want anyone to go hungry. The Saint Mark’s Food Closet is open to all experiencing food insecurity.
“A gathering place, a place full of love, of hope, a house of mercy – which Jesus called it, a place where all of us – whoever can show up and be nurtured, learn to love, agape love – not just the meaning but the action. A place where we do away with ideas like tolerance and we allow each other to become.” – Pastor Quentisha
Children are important to us! On Sunday mornings we provide a full Sunday School for children kindergarten through 5th grade that includes a Bible lesson, music, and activities. Childcare is provided for infants through preschool.
