Congregational Care Ministers (CCM)
We invite you to prayerfully consider your calling to serve others at Saint Mark’s. As Jesus sent out his disciples, saying, “Go your way; behold, I am sending you out as lambs in the midst of wolves… Heal the sick and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you'” (Luke 10:3,9), we too are called to minister to those around us.
If you feel drawn to the vital role of congregational care minister, we encourage you to step forward. This ministry charges you with the profound responsibility of journeying alongside fellow believers on their faith pilgrimage, manifesting in various capacities within Saint Mark’s. As a congregational care minister, you will partner with individuals in their faith walk, pray with and for them, make calls and visits, and assist with other ministerial needs in collaboration with Pastor Quentisha.
This calling requires a strong witness in faith, a genuine desire to grow spiritually, and a willingness to be present with others on their journey. It’s an opportunity to nurture others, share your gifts, and grow in your own faith. We ask that you reflect on your spiritual gifts and consider if God is calling you to this meaningful ministry. Remember, as Jesus promised his disciples, “Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me” (Matthew 10:40). If you feel led to this service, please sign-up to explore this rewarding path of discipleship.
We are looking for five individuals who feel called to provide meaningful care and support to our congregation. If you feel called, click the button below to sign up by September 22, 2024 and start your journey to becoming a CCM.
